Nicole Kropatsch

Owner and Instructor at Vital Motions

Movement has been my lifelong medium—and my mission. It's not just what I do, it's who I am. I hold a BFA in Dance Performance, and I bring over 20 years of experience as a professional dancer and movement educator. Through this journey, I’ve learned how powerful and personal movement can be. Whether you're a seasoned athlete, desk bound professional, or just beginning your wellness journey, I believe every body is designed to move—and everyone deserves to feel good doing it.

My approach is fascia-focused and deeply individualized, integrating techniques that support longevity in life, functional strength, and holistic well-being. My certifications include GYROTONIC® (Level 1 & 2), with specialized coursework in the fascial body, osteoporosis and osteopenia, movement for dancers, and golf performance. I also hold certifications in the MELT Method for hands and feet and OOV fundamentals—each offering a unique way to meet your body's evolving needs.

My passion for movement also extends into the world of corporate wellness—an often-overlooked space where reconnecting with the body can lead to meaningful shifts in focus, energy, and overall well-being. I lead workplace wellness sessions that help individuals and teams move smarter, breathe better, and manage stress —resulting in enhanced productivity, improved quality of work, and a healthier workplace culture.

I've been moving for as long as I can remember, and my career has been a continuous evolution—guided by curiosity, purpose, and the belief that movement is one of our most powerful forms of self-care.

  • Fascia is a web of layered connective tissue that stretches throughout your entire body, wrapping and supporting muscles, bones, organs, and more. It’s made up of three main layers:

    • Superficial fascia: Located just beneath the skin, this layer helps with mobility and fat storage.

    • Deep (or myofascial) fascia: Surrounds and separates muscles and muscle fibers, keeping them organized and functioning smoothly.

    • Visceral fascia: Protects and anchors internal organs inside body cavities.

Together, these layers allow your body to move efficiently and stay structurally balanced. When fascia becomes tight or restricted, it can lead to pain, reduced mobility, or discomfort.

  • While physical therapy typically focuses on treating injuries or recovering from surgery using medically prescribed exercises, our approach blends movement systems to support whole-body wellness and functional strength.

We prioritize mindful, exploratory movement that helps you reconnect with your body, improve mobility, and build resilience from the inside out. These modalities can complement physical therapy but go beyond symptom management—focusing instead on long-term balance, nervous system regulation, and movement efficiency.
